1. What types of executable files can your protector process?

“DYAMAR Protector” supports 32-bit native code processing, including EXE/DLL/OCX files in the Portable Executable (PE) format. Our software is also able to protect .NET applications.

2. What are the system requirements for DYAMAR Protector?

DYAMAR Protector and the DYAMAR Protector GUI do not require any extra libraries to start them. They support all the Windows operation systems from XP to version 7.

3. Can I protect my application by using the command line interface?

Yes. To do that, you can use a console version and run DYAMARProtector.exe (in demo-version run DYAMARProtectorDemo.exe) with the following parameters:

DYAMARProtector.exe –config YourDYAMARProtectorConfig.xml

First, the XML configuration file should be created by the GUI version of the DYAMAR Protector.

4. Why does the file size grow when I protect my application?

This is normal. It happens because the protection engine is added to your application. It is actually a benefit that the modified file is larger, since it will be much harder to analyze it. In addition, you may enable the file compression feature in our DYAMAR Protector to reduce the file size.

5. How safe is your trial feature? Can it be easily defeated?

No, it cannot be easily defeated. We use our proprietary algorithms, which are strong and keep trial information secure. The details of our protection engine are not provided to the public, since hackers may use it for illegitimate purposes.

6. We want to sell our software in South Africa. Do you have localization for this country?

No, we do not have localization for South Africa. We have already translated our messages into 15 languages, and we'd like to increase this list. It takes 5 minutes to add a new language to our activation window, and if you like, you may help us to translate our messages to the language of South Africa (or any other country). We give bonuses and discounts for our software to anyone who helps us.

7. I need XXX feature, but your DYAMAR Protector does not have it!

Please tell us what you need, and we will implement it. We appreciate any help and ideas.

8. Can I clear trial information when I release new version of my software?

The only way to do this is to increment the version number of your software on the "Misc." page in our DYAMAR Protector. In addition, you'll need to generate new license keys. There is no way to clear old trial information. Such behavior is provided for security reasons.
